A concierge, not a pharmacy
A medical concierge service. We are not a pharmacy, do not dispense medicines and do not diagnose. You pick products from the catalog; our partner pharmacist sources them at a licensed pharmacy and arranges delivery. Controlled and travel-banned medicines cannot be ordered. Goods, discount and delivery are shown as separate lines.
Who we are
PharmaGuide is an information & delivery concierge. We are not a pharmacy and do not dispense medicine. We help match the Egyptian equivalent of your medicine by active ingredient and arrange delivery via licensed partner pharmacies.
Dispensing
Medicines are dispensed by a licensed partner pharmacy, which is the seller and licence holder of record for every order. The pharmacist makes the final dispensing decision. We do not diagnose or prescribe.
Pricing & discount
The medicine price is the pharmacy price with no markup. The discount (3% per 1000 EGP of goods, up to 15%) and delivery are shown as separate lines and are never blended with the medicine cost.
The 50/50 partner model
The website handles marketing and order intake, while a licensed partner pharmacist sources the medicines and arranges delivery. After deducting the actual medicine and delivery cost, the remaining profit is split equally between the site owner and the pharmacist. For you the price stays transparent: you see the goods total, the discount and delivery as separate lines.
Controlled medicines
Controlled and travel-banned medicines (e.g. those containing phenobarbital, such as Corvalol, or tramadol) are flagged and are not sourced or delivered — a safety and Egyptian-law requirement. Prescription medicines require a prescription.
Data & consent
We process your data only to place and deliver your order, with your explicit consent, which you confirm before placing the order. We collect only the necessary minimum: name, contact, hotel and order contents. We do not request health data.
Data storage & transfers
Order data is kept no longer than Egyptian tax and accounting law requires, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Technically the data is hosted on the secured servers of our infrastructure providers (Supabase, Vercel), including outside Egypt; access is restricted and protected.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time — message us on WhatsApp or Telegram (contacts in the site footer). If a security incident affects your data, we will notify you within 72 hours, as provided by Egypt’s Personal Data Protection Law (No. 151/2020).
